“In 1993 I graduated "Doctor in Medicine, Surgery, and Obstetrics" at VUB university of Brussels and was promoted surgeon in 1999. Here I am surgeon since. I also studied at the Vlerick College of the Leuven University where I earned a degree in "General and Financial Management" to become Medical Manager of the policlinic of Dilbeek (2007) and the poli Meiser Schaerbeek (2012). On July 13, 2013 I delivered successfully my doctoral theses and obtained my degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences. My professional career started in in 1999 at the UZ Brussels. I got specialized in the techniques of weight reduction and bariatric surgery and became the Head of the department said 'Obesity Clinic' of the UZ Brussels.

Mid-2015, I decided to end my collaboration with the UZ Brussels in order to devote myself fully as an independent surgeon to continued development of my specialization which is abdominal surgery and more specifically bariatric surgery to fight obesity. The first of July 2015 I was accredited by the renowned Edith Cavell Hospital which. Since then I am now operating in a totally private setting, surrounded by a powerful team of colleagues, which allows me to offer to each of my patients fully optimal and totally personalized care.”
